Mooncake is run by a small team, and we read every message we receive. Whatever you need - an invite, help getting into your account, or to tell us about someone's behaviour - email us.

Getting in touch
Write to hello@mooncake.love, ideally from the email address on your Mooncake account. If something in the app is broken, try to give us as many details as you can, including which phone and OS version you're using. Please also include screenshots if possible.
I don't have an invite code
Mooncake is currently invite-only while we grow slowly and carefully, so you need a code to create an account. You enter it on the invite screen, right after you sign in for the first time. If you don't have one, email us and tell us a little about yourself and what you're looking for, and we'll let you know when you'll be able to sign up.
I can't sign in
You can sign in with Apple, or with your email address. Choosing email sends you a six-digit code - it can take a minute to arrive and it sometimes lands in spam or promotions, so check there before asking for a new one. If you originally signed up with Apple and used Hide My Email, sign in with Apple again rather than typing an address: the hidden address is the one on your account. Still locked out? Email us and we'll sort it out for you.
How your shortlist works
Every Saturday our team hand-picks a small shortlist of members for you. Open a profile to read it in full, then choose Interested or Pass. Nobody is told that you passed on them, and there's nothing to swipe through - when you've been through the list, you're done until the next one.
Matches and chats
When two people are both interested in each other, it's a match, and a chat opens in the Matches tab. Nothing expires and there are no timers. Once a chat is open you can message freely without limits.
Changing your profile or preferences
Your photos and details live under the Profile tab - tap Edit to change anything. Preferences is where you tell us who you'd like to meet: the places and regions you're open to, languages, lifestyle, values, education, and anything else you'd want a friend setting you up to know. Our team reads that before choosing your next shortlist, so it's worth keeping current.
Reporting or blocking someone
Open the member's profile and scroll to the bottom - Report and Block are there. Inside a chat, tap their name in the header for the same two options. Blocking removes someone from your shortlist and stops them from messaging you. We review every report and act within 24 hours, and we remove accounts for abusive behaviour or objectionable content. If you ever feel unsafe, email us and say so in the subject line.
Pausing or deleting your account
To take a break, email us and we'll pause your profile - you'll stop appearing in other members' shortlists, and we'll bring it back whenever you're ready. To delete your account, open the Profile tab and tap Delete account. Deletion is permanent: your profile, matches and chats are removed and we cannot restore them.
Your data
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, or ask us to correct or erase it, by emailing us. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why we collect it and how long we keep it.
Membership
If you have a question about your membership, email us and we'll answer it personally.
